Durable Polymer Marble Composite

Low maintenance DuraClassic™ Balustrades are roto-cast from the same durable poly/marble composite as our DuraClassic™ Architectural Columns. This impact resistant poly/marble composite provides a smooth paintable surface that will not spall, craze or deteriorate, and will withstand the damaging weathering effects of harsh climates.

Easy and Inexpensive to Install

DuraClassic Balustrades are simple and economical to install. No specialized labor or tools are required and stainless steel hardware is provided for rail assembly. In addition, railings are available in one foot increments up to 16′ to allow for longer spans and reduce rail waste and the number of newel posts thereby reducing material and installation cost.

Radius Railings and Stairs

Our DuraClassic™ Balustrades are available with radius railings to enhance the beauty of any project. Continuous sweeping railings are available in your choice of radiuses as tight as 7 ft. Radius balustrade stairs are also available at amazingly affordable prices to add drama and dimension to your balustrade.

Meets Building Codes & Safety Requirements

Melton Classics has designed our DuraClassic™ Balustrades to meet stringent ICC and IBC code requirements and to allow compliance with local building code safety requirements. All of our DuraClassic™ Balustrade designs are also engineered to allow baluster spacing flexibility to meet local baluster spacing code requirements, or to allow wider spacing where the balustrade is installed close to grade, or where code baluster spacing is not required.

Complete Coordination of Design Elements

For complete coordination of your design elements Melton Classics offers our DuraClassic™ Architectural Columns  and Architectural Urethane Polyurethane Mouldings and Millwork to compliment our DuraClassic™ Balustrades. Our lifetime warranted DuraClassic columns are roto-cast with a one piece shaft design from an enhanced Class 1 fire rated poly/marble composite similar our DuraClassic balustrade systems,. DuraClassic™ columns also exceed the stringent ASTM E 84-01 specifications for flame spread and low smoke density. Designed to be load bearing DuraClassic columns can be specified factory split for reassembly around structural members, as well. DuraClassic™ Columns are available in a wide variety of classical designs in diameters from 6″ to 24″ and in heights from 4′ to 24′.
